The Design of Purdy Lil' Heifer
A heifer is a female cow who has not yet given birth to a calf. The designer often attended rodeos and even became a board member of a local rodeo so bulls and livestock were often highly regarded. They were typically male but coming from a family with two sisters she wanted to start her design with a female figure. When designing the logo, the idea of a cute, young cow came to mind. Her youngest sister also has an affection towards cows so it only made sense to create the Purdy Lil' Heifer.
